Software Engineer (Wordpress)

Salary: BDT 35,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins

• Customize WordPress themes to match client requirements and branding

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create seamless, user-centric experiences

• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance across devices

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing WordPress websites

• Conduct code reviews and maintain clean, modular, and documented code

• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and security practices

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in WordPress development

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL

• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customization

• Strong understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations

• Familiarity with Git or similar version control systems

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
