About the Role

Avian BPO & IT — a fast-scaling software and infrastructure company — is looking for a Senior Blesta Developer with a decade of proven experience in core Blesta architecture, plugin development, and system integration. You will architect mission-critical automation systems that power global SaaS billing platforms.

This role demands deep technical mastery of Blesta’s internals, clean modular PHP code, and strategic thinking to optimize performance, scalability, and reliability across our product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and extend Blesta core modules, gateways, and plugins for large-scale deployments.

  • Develop advanced automation tools for billing, provisioning, and license management.

  • Customize and optimize Blesta database structure for performance and scaling.

  • Implement custom APIs and webhooks for integrations with external services (SAAS servers, licensing APIs, payment gateways).

  • Perform Blesta version migrations, security patching, and technical audits.

  • Debug and fix complex production issues at both the PHP and MySQL level.

  • Mentor mid-level developers and perform code reviews to maintain enterprise-grade quality.

  • Collaborate with DevOps and front-end teams to ensure seamless deployment pipelines.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven experience in Blesta plugin/core development.

  • Strong command of PHP (OOP), MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and MVC frameworks.

  • Deep understanding of Blesta licensing, service modules, cron automation, and billing cycles.

  • Experience in payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal, CoinPayments, etc.).

  • Proficiency in API-based provisioning systems and RESTful architecture.

  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a focus on scalability and reliability.

  • Ability to write clean, modular, and well-documented code.

  • Excellent communication and mentoring ability.

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of Linux system administration and cPanel integration.

  • Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS environments.
